Safety In Mexico

 

Overall, traveling around Mexico is safe-ish, but we encourage you to be careful during your travels. Of course, you should always lock your valuables especially if you’re staying in a hostel.

Use common sense and keep your valuables off-sight, especially in crowded touristy areas.

Avoid dodgy areas and limit your alcohol consumption to avoid any troubles, especially with the police.

Always ask the taxi rate before entering a taxi.
