If New Zealand is all about outdoors, sports and adrenaline…

…Queenstown is like the World’s adventure capital.

My trip to New Zealand had to be with a dose of adrenaline. This is a must. It was on the bucket list. And now, I want more!

As an ambassador for Tinggly Experiences, it was easy to pick an adventure; The Ledge Swing in Queenstown!

Make sure to check these fun things to do in Queenstown.

It was a special day. A weird mixture of stress, anxiety, excitement and adrenaline. I was in the gondola when I saw it. A tiny cabin (a deck?) on the side of the mountain… filled up with those crazy ones.

I walked to the observatory on the top of the mountain. The cabin was smaller from there. And those little humans were still crazy.

I decided to walk down slowly to get to the little shack so I can observe a jumper. My legs turned into jelly, my heart started to beat faster and I thought I was probably crazy too. I ran to the counter to be done with that insane check-in.

I was greeted with a smile and laughs to try to calm the torment in my stomach. You know, these things we normally call butterflies? My butterflies burst on the walls … violently. I crossed the bridge. They opened the door when they saw me coming. They smiled. They asked me why I was that nervous. They made some jokes. They distracted me. Butterflies have turned into eagles destroying my inside.

They asked me; “Ready? ”

Yes.

(Can you really be ready for this kind of experience?)

(Mental block; don’t think, just do it.)

1, 2, 3.

And I did it.

I dropped. I swung. I was happy.

So what does it look like to do a Ledge Swing? There you go. Sit back and relax from your little comfortable seat when I’m about to swing. Unfortunately, I was scared and I managed to hide my experience by holding something in front of my camera. But, enjoy my adrenaline bits!

What’s Tinggly Experiences?

Tinggly is a wonderful concept for the travelers of this world! Their slogan sums up their mission; the World’s best experiences in one gift box. It’s the ideal choice to provide experience to a lucky person so they can check their bucket list. The Ledge Swing is definitely a must-have gift.
