Want to find a great eSIM to stay connected to the Internet during your travels? Look no further than Instabridge!

In this Instabridge eSIM review, we’ll give you more information about their eSIM plans so that you can see if it’s a good option for you.

When traveling, people often look for local or regional SIM cards. But, finding a SIM card in a foreign country can be challenging.

If your phone only accepts one SIM card, you must choose which one to use or switch back and forth, which can be frustrating.

Using an eSIM can simplify your life. Instead of searching for a kiosk at the airport and swapping SIM cards, you can use your eSIM to connect to the Internet on arrival.

So, how do you get an eSIM? In this guide, we’ll explain how to use Instabridge to purchase an eSIM for your upcoming trip.

Instabridge Review

❔What Is An eSIM?

An eSIM is basically a virtual SIM card.

This means you won’t need to accumulate many different SIM cards from around the world anymore.

All you need to do is either scan the QR code or manually enter the details given to you once you have purchased your eSIM plan on Instabridge.

You no longer have to struggle with small plastic pieces or face language barriers when purchasing a SIM card.

With an Instabridge eSIM plan, you can easily connect to the Internet in over 190 countries.

❔ What Devices Support eSIM?

There’s a catch, though. Before purchasing an eSIM, you must check if your device is compatible with eSIM technology.

While eSIMs usually work with new phone models, they don’t work on older ones.

Another thing to note when determining if your device is compatible is where you have purchased it. Some countries currently have limitations or restrictions that could impact your ability to use an eSIM.

❔ What Is Instabridge?

Instabridge was founded in 2012 in Stockholm, Sweden. Its mission was to make the Internet accessible to all, regardless of their location or circumstances.

Initially, the company was focusing on enabling connectivity through WiFi maps. Eventually, they expanded their services and introduced a global eSIM offering.

Today, Instabridge has earned a reputation for excellence with over 200 million downloads.

Instabridge now offers comprehensive global access and reliable coverage in over 190 countries.

They offer competitive pricing and an unmatched digital experience that sets new market standards.

✅ What Are The Benefits Of Using Instabridge?

We all need to take care of three main things as soon as we get off the plane.

Get through and survive the typically long immigration queues, exchange or withdraw money, and purchase a travel SIM card.

One of the best things about using Instabridge to purchase an eSIM is that it takes away all the stress of buying a SIM card when arriving in a new country.

You can even opt for a global plan if you’re visiting multiple destinations. For example, Instabridge offers global plans that include coverage in 112 countries.

With an Instabridge eSIM, you can connect to the local network as soon as the pilot turns that seatbelt sign off. No more relying on the airport’s free wifi.

Below, you’ll find more advantages of using Instabridge eSIMs:

  • Legitimate and safe eSIM provider
  • Extensive coverage (190 countries)
  • The global plan offers extensive coverage (in 112 countries)
  • The app will automatically install the eSIM for you
  • You can choose between a one-off plan or a yearly plan.

🗒️ My Experience With Instabridge eSIM

To give you an idea, I tried Instabridge in Thailand in June 2023. Once you’re on the website, you simply need to choose your destination and preferred plan.

You should know that the desktop version doesn’t show all the local plans, so you might want to look on the app instead.

You can pick between one-off plans or subscriptions, depending on your needs.

The buying process is straightforward and only takes a few minutes.

I followed the steps mentioned above and could quickly connect to the Internet.

However, I hit two minor snags during the process:

  1. After installing the app, you’ll get a prompt to redeem the coupon code to install/activate the plan inside the app. I didn’t understand that I needed to redeem something to activate my plan on the app. So, I needed to shut the app and reopen it to get the prompt again. Basically, it wasn’t clear to me, but you can easily avoid making the same mistake as me by clicking on the button right away.
  2. When activating the eSIM, the app showed the activation percentage, but it froze at 75%. I closed the app and reopened it, and then, everything worked.

Since then, everything has worked perfectly. However, I did see a warning like what I was out of data, but it wasn’t true. So, this might be a bug. Hopefully, Instabridge will fix this soon.

Overall, my Instabridge eSIM was easy to set up (because the app does it for you) and worked within a few minutes.

Therefore, my experience with Instabridge was positive.

It’s also worth mentioning that customer support isn’t the fastest. I inquired with a question via the app, and I got a reply 36 hours later. I hope to see improvement in the future.

❔ Is Instabridge Safe?

Instabridge is a safe and legitimate eSIM provider.

So, if you’re wondering if Instabridge is legit – yes, it is. The company is based in Sweden.

When I tried Instabridge, it worked fine, and I could access the Internet in just a few minutes.

❔ What To Do If Instabridge Is Not Working?

If you’re having issues with Instabridge, you can always contact customer support to find a solution to your problem. You can contact them directly in the app, or via email.

Usually, the steps below should help you resolve your issues.

  1. In your device settings, your eSIM is active under Mobile Networks
  2. Mobile data is turned on for this eSIM
  3. Data Roaming is On

We hope the above steps will help you understand the potential issues with your Instabridge eSIM card.

That said, if you’re wondering if Instabridge is reliable – it is!
