The Cow Shed, Alport

Offering the perfect countryside retreat, this lovely little studio cottage is suitable for up to 2 people sleeping in one room. The open plan living space comprises a sitting area, double bed, kitchen, and dining area, and there is also a shower room.

This impressive farmhouse has plenty of rustic features, including a large, beamed sitting room with a charming inglenook fireplace and an inviting covered verandah. Ideal for couples and family groups, it has 5 bedrooms sleeping up to 12 guests and a large, private hot tub for 4 to 6 people.

Its location couldn’t be better, situated right on the edge of Manifold Valley, with its dramatic landscape of caves and lime-stone crags. Bicycles are available to hire locally and you can enjoy the cycle trail at Wetton Mill, which follows the line of a narrow-gauge valley and river for seven miles.

There is private parking for 6 cars and a games room to keep everyone entertained, with a dartboard, table tennis, and a pool table.

Cosy Hideaway For 2, Staffordshire Moorlands District

This idyllic and romantic cottage with a hot tub in the Peak District makes the perfect getaway for 2 people. It is located on a dairy farm and offers incredible, sweeping views across the countryside.

You’ll find charming features throughout, including a one-of-a-kind mural ceiling with doves and twisting vines, a beautiful canopied bed, and a crackling open fire in front of which to snuggle up on a chilly evening.

The fully equipped kitchen features a wood-burning stove and there is plenty to keep you entertained, including a TV, DVD player, radio with an iPod docking station, and WiFi.

Within the beautiful farmhouse, gardens are a barrel sauna and Swedish hot tub, which are available for you to hire. You can choose to upgrade either of these experiences to include refreshments. Parking is available and there are lots of gorgeous walks to enjoy, with Bunster Hill directly on your doorstep! 

3 Pheasant Lane, Bolsterstone / Ewden Village

Located on the edge of the Peak District on the outskirts of the village of Bolsterstone, this lovely stone-built cottage has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to six people.

There is also a Shepherd’s Hut in the garden that can sleep a further two guests – ideal for couples or a fun sleeping area for children! The Hut is fully self-contained and has its own shower room, WC, and tea/coffee making facilities.

The main cottage has a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and the outdoor space is lovely, with an electric jacuzzi and sauna, plus a wood-fired pizza oven for al fresco dining.

Bolsterstone itself is one of the Sheffield area’s last remaining hill villages, with a 170-year-old country pub that is well worth a visit.  

4 Bedroom Accommodation, Matlock

If you are looking for a historic property that has retained many of its original features, this gorgeous Georgian house is ideal.
