It seems like the time where we used to travel without being connected with our loved ones is gone.  Time flies by – and technology is yet still surprising.
I was 20 years old on my first trip in Europe.  I bought a International call card so I can stay in touch with Canada.  I had to find a phone box pretty late at night to be able to reach my family at a decent time.
The struggle was real.
Computers were always occupied at the hostels and let’s be honest, Internet was quite slow!
7 years later, time has changed.  We can stay connected as we go by swapping our SIM cards, seeking free WiFi or using Pocket WiFi.
Phone boxes still exist (especially in London) – but I guess the purpose of them have changed quite a bit; selfie generation here you come.

The truth is; it sounds pretty amazing to shut off the connection as you travel, to send a couple of letters on the way and to get lost in the jungle.  But, you know… this was so 2010.

Hi, my name is Melissa and I’m a digital nomad.  Of course, I’d probably need a digital detox at some point, but the only thing I really need… is WiFi.

How could I book my next hostel, my next flight or find my way around without WiFi?

How could I even work?

Guilty here. Whether you like it or not, it’s my reality; I need to stay connected.

What the heck is Pocket WiFi?

Having Pocket WiFi is basically roaming around… with your router instead of paying extra roaming data. Thank God, technology is great. Pocket WiFi fits literally in your pocket and as long as you have charge (and data) you’ll be connected to the Internet.

Hippocketwifi is the Pocket WiFi you must use in Europe so you can stay connected everywhere across the borders.

Having Pocket WiFi is also great for your wallet.  You don’t need to get a SIM card as soon as you enter a new country and you won’t have added roaming data on your mobile bill.

Where does it work?

It works everywhere in Europe: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.

Why you should use Hippocketwifi

It’s easy to use.  Your device will already be charged when you get it.  You simply need to connect to your WiFi and enjoy your online life.

It’s convenient.  The pocket WiFi doesn’t take up too much room and comes in a little case to keep it safe.  You can take it with you everywhere.  You can use up to 10 devices at the same time (which is perfect for digital nomads *Ahem).

It’s fast.  I found that my Pocket WiFi was faster than most hostel’s WiFi.  Who would complain about faster WiFi?
